Lady Rebel Golfers Set For Final Fall Tournament

OXFORD, Miss. The Ole Miss women’s golf team will conclude the fall this weekend at the UA-Ann Rhoads Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Alabama at the NorthRiver Golf Club.

 

The field at the 2007 UA-Ann Rhoads Intercollegiate features several top ranked teams in the nation. Three teams in the field are ranked in the top 10, including No. 5 Florida, No. 6 Auburn and No. 7 Arkansas.   

 

In addition to those teams, seven other squads will be in Tuscaloosa ranked in the nation’s top 40. Notre Dame, ranked 20th, is in the field, as is No. 24 LSU, No. 31 South Carolina, No. 33 Florida State, No. 35 Texas and No. 39 Louisville.

 

Ole Miss will have Dori Carter, Jill Brodd, Sara Grantham, Rachel Ingram and Katherine Jones competing.

 

Play begins at 8:00 a.m., on Friday and Saturday with a shotgun start scheduled for 8:40 on Sunday morning.
