Flatt recorded his first career 300-yard passing game and became the first Rebel to do so since Eli Manning threw for 391 against South Carolina in 2003 ... Flatt finished 20-of-37 for 309 yards with 1 TD and 2 INTs.
  • Senior RB/WR Larry Kendrick scored his first two career TDs, hauling in an 8-yard scoring strike from Flatt in the first quarter and rushing in from a yard out in the second ... Kendrick also turned in career highs in receptions (6), receiving yards (61), rushes (23) and rushing yards (48).
  • Redshirt freshman RB Mico McSwain registered his fifth play of 40 or more yards with his 45-yard reception from Flatt in the first quarter.
  • Sophomore Robert Lane notched career-highs of four catches for 116 yards, marking his first career 100-yard receiving game ... His 60-yard catch in the fourth quarter was the Rebels' longest pass play of the year.
  • The 10 net yards on the ground is Ole Miss' least since rushing for four yards against Alabama in 2002 ... The Rebels have totaled 33 total rushing yards in the last two games and have been held under 70 yards rushing five times this season.
  • With Randy Kelly's 42-yard interception return of Flatt to the end the first quarter, Ole Miss surrendered its third defensive TD of the year.

DEFENSIVE NOTES

  • The Rebels held the SEC's top rushing offense to 89 yards, Arkansas' lowest total of the season and 163 yards below its season average ... Ole Miss limited conference rushing leader Darren McFadden to 22 yards, his second-lowest tally and 87 yards below his average.
  • The Ole Miss defense has forced and recovered at least two fumbles in four straight games.
  • Junior LB Patrick Willis led the Rebels with 9 tackles and a fumble recovery.
  • Senior NT Michael Bozeman posted 7 tackles (3 solo).
  • Sophomore DB Nate Banks matched his career high for tackles with 6.

Arkansas Game Notes

  • Arkansas won its first Southeastern Conference game of the year with a 28-17 victory over Ole Miss, improving the Razorbacks' record to 3-6 overall and 1-5 in the SEC.
  • Arkansas extended its lead in the Ole Miss series to 28-23-1 and is now 2-5 at Oxford.
  • True freshman Antwain Robinson played in his first game as a Razorback, making him the 18th freshman to suit up for Arkansas this year. UA has now played the most freshmen of any Division I school in the country.
  • Junior Jacob Skinner tied his career-long punt in the first quarter when he booted a 58-yard punt. His other 58-yard punt was against Florida in 2003. With his game total of 272 yards punting Skinner moved into ninth on the UA career punting yards list with 4,859 yards for his career.
  • Junior Randy Kelly earned his first-career interception in the first quarter, which he ran back 42 yards for a touchdown. It also marked UA's 13th defensive TD since 1998 and second of the 2005 season.
  • For the third time in 2005 Arkansas gained two interceptions in a game. The Hogs also did it against Missouri State and Auburn.
  • Senior Vickiel Vaughn picked up his fifth-career and second interception of the year.
  • Sophomore Marcus Monk touchdown receptions in the third and fourth quarters moved into eighth on the UA career list with 12.
  • With his touchdown reception in the fourth quarter sophomore Peyton Hillis earned a career-high three TD catches.
  • Sophomore Jamaal Anderson picked up two sacks against the Rebels, giving him three-career sacks.
  • Freshman Ernest Mitchell recorded his first-career sack in the second quarter.
  • Junior Keith Jackson earned his first sack of 2005.
  • Senior Pierre Brown recorded his second sack of the year, giving him five for his career.
  • Sophomore Cedric Logan tied his career-high with two receptions.
