OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss women's golf team will continue its 2004 fall campaign Monday and Tuesday at the UA/Ann Rhoads Intercollegiate in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The tournament has been shortened to 18 holes each day and will be played at the Ol' Colony Golf Course.

The Lady Rebels will be part of a 14-team field, which includes Alabama, Augusta State, Belmont, Birmingham-Southern, Jacksonville State, Memphis, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State, Murray State, Samford, Troy, Tulane and UAB.

"We are looking forward to this tournament," Ole Miss head coach Meghan Bolger said. "We had a good start to the season at the Cougar Classic, but will be looking for more out of the young women at this tournament. I like our chances this week if we play up to our potential. I think the young women in this program are ready for the challenge."

Senior Nikki Hadd tied for ninth individually (73-71-74=218) at the Cougar Classic, while sophomore Katie Davidson fired a career-best round of 69 to open the tournament.

"We had some solid individual efforts last week," Bolger added. "Nikki Hadd really played well and Katie Davidson showed her potential in the first round. I also thought Katherine Jones gave us a good effort in her first collegiate tournament. Now, we just need to get all five golfers playing well at the same time."
