AUBURN GAME NOTES
TEAM NOTES
* With Ronnie Brown's one-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, Auburn now has scored a rushing touchdown in 20 straight regular season games.
* Auburn's 92-yard scoring drive in the first half was the longest of the season for the Tigers, surpassing the previous long drive on 91 yards against Southern California. In fact, it was the longest drive since a 93-yard drive against Arkansas in 2000, a span of 23 games.
* Auburn has rushed for 100+ yards in 10 consecutive regular season games.
* Auburn has 25 rushing touchdowns this season which is the most since the 1995 team scored 35 rushing touchdowns.
* Auburn has scored at least two rushing touchdowns in eight of nine games this season. The only exception was the Arkansas game when Auburn rushed for one touchdown.
* With the safety in the third quarter, Auburn has its first safety since the Vanderbilt game in 2000.
* Auburn has scored 102 of 284 points this season off turnovers.
* Ronnie Brown scored three rushing touchdowns today. The last time an Auburn player scored three rushing touchdowns was Casinious Moore against Ole Miss in 2001.
* With three interceptions today, Auburn has eight turnovers in the last two games, including seven interceptions.
* Auburn has 18 interceptions on the season which ties the 1999 season.
INDIVIDUAL NOTES
* Ronnie Brown's 55-yard run in the first quarter was the longest run of his career. His previous long run was 43 yards against Ball State in 2001.
* Ronnie Brown's 89 yards in the first quarter were the most by an Auburn back this season in the first quarter. The previous high was Carnell Williams who had 65 yards in the first quarter against Vanderbilt.
* Ronnie Brown has scored seven rushing touchdowns in the last three games.
* Ronnie Brown's 49-yard touchdown run in the second quarter was the longest of his career. His previous long scoring run was 43 yards against Ball State in 2001.
* Ronnie Brown rushed for 152 yards in the first half, which is the most in the first half by an Auburn running back in the last four seasons. The previous high was 120 yards in the first half by Casinious Moore against Mississippi State in 2001.
* Ronnie Brown rushed for a career-high 224 yards today. It also marked the second time this season that an Auburn running back has rushed for 200 or more yards in a game as Carnell Williams ran for 202 against Syracuse. Brown's 224 yards are the 9th most ever by an Auburn running back in a single game. It marked the 21st time in school history that an Auburn player has rushed for 200 or more yards in a game. His previous career high was 163 yards against Florida this season.
* Damon Duval had a punt travel 45 yards in the third quarter and had it downed on the one-yard line, marking the second straight game that he has had a punt downed on the one-yard line. Duval's punt resulted in a safety this week, while against LSU his punt to the one-yard line resulted in an interception by Auburn's Donnay Young which was returned to the LSU 19-yard line. Duval has landed 11 punts inside the 20 this season.
* Carlos Rogers intercepted his third pass of the season. He intercepted two passes against Syracuse.
* Horace intercepted his second career pass in the third quarter. He also intercepted a pass against Mississippi State this season.
* Ben Obomanu caught his second career touchdown pass in the fourth quarter. He caught a 45-yard TD pass against Mississippi State this season.
OLE MISS POSTGAME NOTES

* The 284 yards passing moved him past John Fourcade (1978-81) and into third place on the Ole Miss career list with 5,605 yards. Fourcade totaled 5,412 yards during his career. Manning now trails Kent Austin (1981-1985) by 579 yards for second place on the list, and trails the school career passing leader, Romaro Miller (1997-2000) by 706 yards. Austin had 6,184 yards and Miller passed for 6,311 yards during his career.
* With 46 passing attempts, Manning passed his father, Archie Manning (1968-70) for fifth place on the Ole Miss career list with 786. Archie Manning had 761 career passing attempts.
* The 284-yard performance was his 17th career 200-yard passing game, moving him to within two of Miller's Ole Miss career record of 19.
* With his three TD passes, he now ranks second at Ole Miss in TDs responsible for with 49, seven shy of his father's, Archie Manning's, career record of 56 ... Last week, Manning broke Miller's school career record for TD passes.
SERIES NOTES
* Auburn now holds a 20-7 lead in the overall series.
* The Tigers hold a 6-1 series advantage in games played in Oxford.
* Auburn has won the last three meetings and 18 of the last 20.
* The last four encounters have been decided by eight points or less (24-17 Ole Miss in 1999; 35-27 Auburn in 2000; 27-21 Auburn in 2001; 31-24 Auburn in 2002).
OFFENSIVE NOTES
* Junior RB Ronald McClendon set career highs today for rushing attempts (12) and rushing yards (62).
* The 74 yards rushing by Ole Miss today nearly doubles its total of 40 in the two previous games versus Alabama and Arkansas.
STREAKING REBELS: All three of Ole Miss' receivers that had streaks of at least 10 games with a reception - junior Chris Collins, sophomore Bill Flowers and senior Jason Armstead - all extended their streaks this afternoon.

JUNIOR WR CHRIS COLLINS
* The three TD receptions today tied an Ole Miss single-game record. It is the sixth time in school history an Ole Miss receiver had three TD receptions in a game, including Collins' three TD catches in last year's season opener versus Murray State. Prior to this afternoon, the last time a Rebel had three TD receptions in a game was Jason Armstead, last year versus Arkansas.
* Now has 15 career TD receptions, one shy of Grant Heard's (1996-2000) Ole Miss career record of 16.
* The 106 receiving yards marked his sixth career 100-yard receiving game, adding to his school career record. Last weekend against Arkansas, he had 138 yards receiving to record his fifth career 100-yard game and break Floyd Franks (1968-70) school career record of 4.
* With eight receptions today, Collins now has 102 career receptions to make him the ninth player in school history to record at least 100 career receptions.
DEFENSIVE NOTES
* Auburn had 254 yards rushing a team to mark the third straight game that opponents have rushed for at least 200 yards against Ole Miss. Alabama had 234 yards two weeks ago and Arkansas recorded 257 yards last weekend.
* The 224 yards by the Tigers' Ronnie Brown marked the first time an opposing player had rushed for over 200 yards in a game against the Rebels since Arkansas' Fred Talley in 2000.
* Senior Eddie Strong's sack in the first quarter was the 10th of his career.
* The Rebels have recorded at least one QB sack in 29 of its last 30 games.
SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
* Jonathan Nichols' 30-yard FG in the second quarter marked his seventh consecutive made field goal since missing a 36-yarder against Memphis back on Sept. 7.
* Nichols was 3-of-3 on PAT attempts, making him 31-of-31 for the season and extending his streak to 40 consecutive made PATs ... The streak of 40 is tied with Jimmy Keyes for the fourth longest streak in school history.
