BATON ROUGE, La. - The Ole Miss women's golf team is in 10th place after day one of the LSU/Cleveland Golf Classic Friday at the University Club.

The Lady Rebels have a first round total of 319. Auburn has the overall lead with a first round 293.

Ole Miss' Bernadette Luse, a sophomore from Orlando, Fla., led the Lady Rebels with an opening round 77 and is tied for 20th place. Marci Kornegay and Elizabeth Hoffman are tied for 34th place after firing a first-day scores of 80. Teresa Brown and Lori Cate are tied for 47th place after both shot an 82 on Friday. Kerrie Davis, who competed as an individual, finished the first round tied for 53rd place with an 84.

Second round play is slated for Saturday with the final round scheduled for Sunday at the University Club.
