Lady Rebels To Play In 2001 LSU/Cleveland Classic

OXFORD, Miss. - Coming off a 13th place finish at the 2001 Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic last weekend, the Ole Miss women's golf team hits the road once again to Baton Rouge to play in the 2001 LSU/Cleveland Classic. The tournament will be played Friday-Sunday at the The University Club. The tournament field includes: Alabama, UAB, Auburn, Georgia, Mississippi State, North Carolina-Wilmington, LSU, North Texas, South Florida, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, and Tulane. Teresa Brown leads the Lady Rebels with a 79.38 average in 21 rounds played this season. She has one top five finish and one top 10 finish this season. Following play at the LSU/Cleveland Classic, the Lady Rebels will be back in action on April 20-22, when they play in the 2001 SEC Championships in Gainesville, Fla.
