Lady Rebels Remain In Ninth Place At SEC Championships

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -
The Ole Miss women's golf team remains in ninth place Saturday after the second round of the 2001 SEC Women's Golf Championship. The Lady Rebels have a 36-hole total of 314-308--622.
LSU has the second round lead with a 287-289--576. Georgia trails the Lady Tigers by four strokes with a 290-290--580.
Ole Miss' Marci Kornegay (79-76--155) and Elizabeth Hoffman (78-77--155) are tied for 38th place overall. Bernadette Luse is tied for 38th place with a 36-hole total of 78-77--155. Teresa Brown has a 36-hole total of 79-78--157 and is tied for 45th place. Lori Cate is tied for 51st place with a 84-77--161.
Final round play is slated for Sunday at the University of Florida Golf Course.
