OXFORD, Miss. - After three weeks off from competitive play, the Ole Miss Lady Rebel golf team returns to action this weekend at the 27th annual Liz Murphrey Collegiate Classic. The three-day tournament, which will be hosted by the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga., starts on Friday, April 2.
Eighteen teams, including eight nationally-ranked teams, will compete in the Murphrey Classic. Eight Southeastern Conference squads - Ole Miss, Georgia, Mississippi State, Auburn, Alabama, South Carolina, Arkansas and Tennessee - will participate in the three-day tournament.
The Lady Rebel lineup for the Murphrey Classic will be senior Megan Breen, junior Robyn Rinaldo, sophomores Teresa Brown and Marci Kornegay and freshman Kim Tudor. Freshman Lynn Ann Moretto will compete as an individual in the tournament.
