Lady Rebel Golfers in Tenth Place at LSU-Fairwood Invitational

March 14, 1998 BATON ROUGE, La.--The Ole Miss women's golf team moved up from 13th to 10th place after firing a 310 in the second round of the LSU-Fairwood Invitational on Saturday.
Memphis leads the tournament after two rounds with a 296-296--592. Amandine Vincent of UCLA and Amanda Moltke-Leth of Memphis are tied with a 145 to lead the individual field.
Megan Breen, a junior from Longwood, Fla., leads the Lady Rebels with a 76-74--150 and is tied for eighth place. Junior Anna Kirchner of Spring, Texas, is tied for 38th place with a 77-79--156.
Sophomore Robyn Rinaldo of Dade City, Fla., improved from her first-round score of 83 by shooting a 75 Saturday to move up to a tie for 47th, while freshman Marci Kornegay of Savannah, Ga., is tied for 62nd with an 82-83--165. Lauren Mellen, a senior from Orlando, Fla., is tied for 67th with an 84-82--166, and Annie Long, a freshman from Henderson, Nev., is in 79th place with an 89-82--171 in individuals.
The Lady Rebels will complete the tournament at the Fairwood Country Club on Sunday.
