Domenic Martelli enters his first season as a member of the Ole Miss soccer staff.

Martelli comes to Oxford after 11 seasons at Pinecrest Academy in Georgia. There he transformed both varsity programs into perennial state contenders.

Over 11 seasons, Martelli guided the womenโ€™s program to a 135-51-3 record and three state championships. He led the menโ€™s program to a 107-66-7 record and a 2025 GAPPS State Championship.

Martelli was named the NSCAA Georgia High School Coach of the Year for private schools in 2019 and the GAPPS Coach of the Year in 2025.

From 2015-2026, Martelli spent 10 seasons as the head coach and recruiting director of Atlanta Fire ECNL.

Martelli was the founding head coach at Georgia Gwinnett College and led the program from 2012-2015. From scratch he quickly built Gwinnett into a nationally recognized NAIA contender. Martelli held a 34-17-4 record with two conference semifinal appearances in back-to-back seasons. He guided 16 players to NAIA All-Conference selections and coached one NAIA All-American.

From 2000-2012, Martelli served as the head coach at Georgia State. With 110 wins, he remains the winningest head coach in Georgia State program history.

Under Martelliโ€™s leadership, the Panthers made four Atlantic Sun tournament appearances and one CAA tournament. He coached a pair of CAA Rookies of the Year, 26 All-Conference players, 11 All-Freshman honorees and two NSCAA All-South Regional All-Americans.

Martelli was an assistant from 1993-2000 at Army West Point and helped guide the Black Knights to a 1993 Patriot League Championship.

Martelli has been a long time contributor to youth development leagues and led the โ€™85 Georgia ODP Girlsย to theย Region 3 Championshipย and a third place finish at the USYSA National Championships in 2003.

Martelli holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ohio State and a Masterโ€™s in Elementary Educations from Mount Saint Mary College. Martelli is USSF โ€œBโ€ licensed and has his NSCAA Advanced National Diploma.

Domenic and his wife, Kirsten, are the proud parents of Brielle (26) and Nicolas (24), an Ole Miss graduate.
