Men's Tennis Opens Fall Season With Strong Day One Showing in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Ole Miss men's tennis opened its 2026 fall season Friday at the Milwaukee Classic, with the Rebels picking up multiple wins on the opening day of competition.
Igor Kudriashov advanced to the quarterfinals of the singles draw after earning a pair of victories Friday. Kudriashov opened the day with a 6-1, 6-1 win before following it up with a 6-1, 7-5 victory in the Round of 16.
Junior Kai Milburn also opened his singles tournament with a victory, earning a 6-2, 6-3 win in the Round of 32. Milburn battled in the Round of 16, splitting the first two sets before ultimately falling in a match tiebreak.
The Ole Miss duo also advanced in doubles action. Kudriashov and Milburn earned a 6-3 victory in the Round of 16 to move on in the doubles draw.
Kudriashov and Milburn entered the tournament ranked No. 58 in the ITA preseason doubles rankings.
The Milwaukee Classic continues Saturday in Milwaukee, with Kudriashov advancing to the singles quarterfinals and the Kudriashov/Milburn duo continuing in doubles competition.

Day two of the Milwaukee Classic begins Saturday, with the Rebels getting started at 8 a.m. CT as Kudriashov and Milburn compete in the doubles quarterfinals. Kudriashov will then return to the court at 10:30 a.m. CT for his singles quarterfinal match.
