Volleyball Opens Season With Exhibition at Arkansas State

OXFORD, Miss. – For the first time in the 2026 campaign, the Ole Miss volleyball program takes the court, beginning the slate with an exhibition match at Arkansas State on Saturday at 2 p.m. CT.
The exhibition at First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro, Ark., is ticketed, with tickets available for purchase here.
Saturday's exhibition serves as the final tune-up for the Rebels ahead of the regular season opener against Southeastern Louisiana on Friday, August 28 at 6 p.m. CT. That match will be the second of the day at the Gillom Athletics Performance Center, following the neutral site opener between LMU and Northern Arizona at 2 p.m. CT, to begin the Ole Miss Volleyball Invitational.
Head coach Bre Henry leads the Rebels in her fourth full season at the helm. The Rebels have a reshaped roster in 2026, welcoming in several talented newcomers, including All-AAC opposite Jorda Crook, All-Sun Belt honoree Nina Moorer and setter Tenesyn Frye.
In addition, the Rebels return several key contributors from last season, headlined by fifth year outside hitter Shayla Meyer, as well outside hitter Melia Johnson and middle blocker Keirstyn Carlton.
