Andrea Nova Selected to SEC Community Service Team
4/9/2026 | Women's Tennis
OXFORD, Miss. – The Southeastern Conference announced its selections for the 2025 Community Service Team for women's tennis on Thursday, recognizing Ole Miss junior Andrea Nova for her efforts off the court.
The SEC Community Service Team serves as an annual effort by the Southeastern Conference to highlight the accomplishments of student-athletes beyond the field of competition. A total of 15 individuals were named to the SEC Community Service Team this season, representing the men's tennis program within the conference.
A leader on and off the court, Nova has been a force for good in her time spent in Oxford, Mississippi, showcased by her numerous efforts of serving the Ole Miss community.
Nova has partaken in Feed the Sip, a food sustainability project within the Stronger Together Mississippi Initiative. She has helped assist in the collection of non-perishable items for elementary students in Tunica and Quitman Counties. In addition, Andrea has contributed to the Adopt A Basket program, where the athletics department donates more than 100 Thanksgiving baskets to families across the Lafayette County area.
Beyond immediate needs, Nova has also dedicated her time to inspiring future generations through National Girls and Women in Sports Day. Additionally, she participated in outreach at the Oxford Park Commission, where the Ole Miss women's teams mentored young girls wanting to pursue their goals in athletics and beyond. Nova's ability to combine service and advocacy makes her an outstanding candidate for this award.
Nova and the rest of the Rebel squad will round out the regular season on the road this weekend as they will face off against No. 19 Tennessee on Thursday, April 9, at 4 p.m. CT. before then capping off the regular season on Saturday, April 11, at 12 p.m. CT against Kentucky.
