4/7/2026 | Track and Field

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Ole Miss track & field All-American senior Tarik Robinson-O'Hagan has been named the SEC Men's Field Athlete of the Week for the fourth time this season, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Robinson-O'Hagan extended his collegiate lead in the shot put following his winning performance at LSU's Battle on the Bayou last week, tossing a season-best 20.81m/68-03.25. That throw leads all Americans and ranks fourth worldwide for the 2026 outdoor season.

He also won the hammer at 72.17m/236-9, besting reigning NCAA runner-up Angelos Mantzouranis of Minnesota in the process. Robinson-O'Hagan still leads the NCAA in the hammer by 12 feet at his season-opening 77.62m/254-8 that ranks second in American collegiate history.

Ole Miss track & field is back at home this week to host the Joe Walker Invite, set for April 10-11 at Prefontaine Stadium.
