No. 12 Men’s Golf In Third After Two Rounds at SEC Championship

SEA ISLAND, Ga. – The No. 12 Ole Miss men's golf team is in third place after 36-holes at the SEC Championship. The Rebels posted (274, -6) on Thursday and are 21-under for the tournament.
Tom Fischer extended his consecutive under-par round streak to seven after firing a bogey-free 5-under 65 in round two. He played his first nine 2-under and carded three more circles on the back. Fischer birdied both par-5s on the course, using his length off the tee to his advantage.
The Birmingham, Alabama native is tied for eighth at 7-under heading into the final round of stroke play.
Cameron Tankersley is also 7-under-par after a second round of 1-under 69.
The Trolio brothers both shot even par in their second rounds. Cohen remains at 6-under, tied for 15th and Collins sits at 3-over-par.
Daniel Tolf was 1-over-par on Thursday and is even for the championship.
The Rebels look to punch their ticket to match play for the first time since 2023. The top eight teams at the conclusion of stroke play will move forward into the bracket.
The final round of stroke play will begin Friday morning at 8:15 a.m. CT.
