SUMTER, S.C. – Ole Miss women's tennis continued its fall campaign at the ITF W15 Sumter this week, as Alice Soulié picked up back-to-back victories to advance to the quarterfinals.
Soulié opened Wednesday's action in the Round of 32 against UCF's Jantje Tilbuerger. After dropping the opening set, Soulié responded with a strong performance, taking the next two sets, 6-3, 6-3, to secure a 6-7, 6-3, 6-3 victory and advance to the Round of 16.
The Rebel returned to the court Thursday, facing Allison Wang in the Round of 16. Soulié continued her momentum, earning a straight-set victory, 6-4, 7-6, to secure her place in the quarterfinals.
