Men’s Tennis Sends Four Into Singles Quarterfinals at ITA Southern Regionals

AUBURN, Ala. – Ole Miss men's tennis continued play at the 2026 ITA Division I Men's Southern Regional Championships on Saturday, with four Rebels advancing to the singles quarterfinals and two doubles teams earning victories.
Singles
Igor Kudriashov, Vlado Jankanj, Mason Landreth and Niccolo Baroni each secured victories in the round of 16 to advance.
Jankanj delivered a dominant performance, defeating North Alabama's Satoru Nakajima, 6-2, 6-0. Landreth also earned a straight-set victory, taking down Auburn's Freddy Blaydes, 6-2, 6-4.
Kudriashov defeated Alabama's Yoshka Sborowsky, 6-3, 6-4, while Baroni battled through three sets to defeat Auburn's Patrik Munkhammar, 6-2, 3-6, 6-4.
Kai Milburn fell to Alabama's Matic Kriznik, 6-1, 6-3, while Moritz Kudernatsch dropped a three-set decision to Auburn's Manel Lazaro Juncadella, 7-6(4), 3-6, 7-5.
Doubles
Ole Miss picked up two victories in doubles competition. Jankanj and Landreth opened with an 8-6 win over Ilie Cazac and Joao Barreto before falling to Auburn's Freddy Blaydes and Tyler Boers, 8-6, in the round of 16.
Kudriashov and Milburn earned an opening-round victory over Ausias Melo and Til Ole Li Zimmerman before defeating Braden Hanning and Vit Kalina, 8-6, to advance.
Stefan Vedovelli and Baroni fell to Luciano Alcocer and Gabriel Garay, 8-6.
Ole Miss will continue competition at the ITA Southern Regional Championships in Auburn, Alabama.
