RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico – The No. 15 Ole Miss women's golf team looks to make it four straight trips to the postseason in 2025-26. The journey towards that goal begins in Rio Grande as the Rebels will tee it up at the Puerto Rico Classic Feb. 1-3 at Grand Reserve Golf Club. Teams will aim to play 36-holes Sunday and wrap up with the final round Monday with rain projected in the forecast for the remainder of the tournament.
The 54-hole affair features 18 teams in the field, with five of those squads sitting in the top 25 of Clippd's rankings. This will mark Ole Miss' third consecutive year playing at the esteemed tournament, as the Rebel team will search for their third team title of the season.

Tuesday, Feb. 3 – Conclusion of final round (if necessary)

BACK IN THE WINNERS CIRCLE TIMES TWO
Ole Miss notched two wins in the fall including their second straight win at the Cougar Classic back on Sept. 9. It marked back-to-back wins for the sixth time in program history with four coming under head coach Kory Henkes. The win in Charleston was the third win at the Cougar Classic under Henkes in the last four years with prior wins coming in 2022 and 2023.
SIX STRONG
Ole Miss returns 75 percent of their 2024-25 roster broken down by one senior, one junior, three sophomores and a redshirt freshman. Senior Nicole Gal competed as an individual for the Rebels in all four fall tournaments, recording a 73.09 scoring average. Her best finish so far this season came in her home country of Canada where she placed T8 at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational.
Sophomore Kajsalotta Svarvar had a stellar fall finishing inside the top 10 in three starts. She led the team in seven statistical categories and carded a career best 54-hole score of (203, -10) at the Cougar Classic.
Sophie Linder was solid in the middle of the lineup for Ole Miss as she embarks on her third spring in the red and blue. Linder was second best in scoring average (72.18), rounds below par (5) and rounds in the 60s (2) during fall action.
Filippa Sundquist had a strong start to her sophomore campaign with four top 20 finishes and rattled home the third most birdies of any Rebel so far this season.
Larissa Carrillo and Emerson Blair round out the six-returners ready take Ole Miss back to the NCAA Tournament.
NEW FACES, IMMEDIATE IMPACT
Kory Henkes and Zack Siefert added true freshman Matilda Björkman as part of the 2025 class and picked up sophomore Mary Miller via the portal.
Björkman, a native of Töreboda, Västergötland, Sweden, wasted little time cementing her name on the collegiate stage with a T3 finish in her debut at the Boilermaker Classic. She looks to take the growth from her first four collegiate starts to the spring slate.
Mary Miller came to Ole Miss after one year at Georgia Southern where she started all 13 tournaments as a freshman and set a program record 37 rounds played, the most in a single season at GSU. The Savannah, Georgia native didn't take long to make an impact for the Rebels with back-to-back top 10 finishes at the Cougar Classic and Canadian Collegiate Invitational.
