Track & Field’s Armand, Atkinstall-Daley Named to SEC Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Ole Miss track & field senior jumpers Dieusi Armand and Iangelo Atkinstall-Daley have been named to the SEC Community Service Team for the 2024-25 school year, the conference announced Thursday.
Armand participated in several community service efforts, which include: organizing a girls clothing drive in the Quitman County School District, which consisted of donating gently used and new clothing items for the school year; Reading with the Rebels, a department initiative where student-athletes read at local elementary schools to increase reading literacy throughout Mississippi; Ole Miss Athletics' Adopt-A-Basket program, which donates more than 100 Thanksgiving baskets to families in need throughout the Lafayette-Oxford-University community; Books and Bears, which collects new books and stuffed bears to donate to families of Ole Miss facility employees; Feed the Sip, a food sustainability project within the Stronger Together MS initiative where volunteers collect and donate non-perishable food items for elementary students in Tunica and Quitman counties; greeting school children at local morning carpool drop-offs along with other student-athletes; engaged in activities with residents at the North Mississippi Regional Center; assisted with the Willie Price Spirit Day, a Homecoming experience with games, signatures and a pep rally in support of the Willie Price Lab School; and the Area 4 Special Olympics.
Atkinstall-Daley is a team representative on Ole Miss' Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and a returning member of the 2024 SEC Community Service team whose community service efforts include: Feed the Sip, a food sustainability project within the Stronger Together MS initiative where volunteers collect and donate non-perishable food items for elementary students in Tunica and Quitman counties; Ole Miss' water collection drive for Jackson, Mississippi in 2021 and 2022 during the city's water crisis; Reading with the Rebels, a department initiative where student-athletes read at local elementary schools to increase reading literacy throughout Mississippi; Ole Miss Athletics' Adopt-A-Basket program, which donates more than 100 Thanksgiving baskets to families in need throughout the Lafayette-Oxford-University community; Books and Bears, which collects new books and stuffed bears to donate to families of Ole Miss facility employees; A Night to Shine, the Tim Tebow Foundation's annual prom events for community members with disabilities; tornado relief efforts in Rolling Fork, Mississippi that assisted with cleanup efforts and helped collect more than 6,000 non-perishable food items and hygiene products; greeting school children at local morning carpool drop-offs along with other student-athletes; Ole Miss' Trunk or Treat program, which distributes candy and organizes games for local children during Halloween; engaged in activities with residents at the North Mississippi Regional Center; assisted with the Willie Price Spirit Day, a Homecoming experience with games, signatures and a pep rally in support of the Willie Price Lab School; and the Area 4 Special Olympics.
Atkinstall-Daley is among 13 Ole Miss entries to the upcoming 2025 NCAA Outdoor Championships, slated to run June 11-14 at the University of Oregon's Hayward Field.
