Binford, Brady Tabbed to D1Softball’s 2025 Top-100 Players

6/16/2025 | Softball

OXFORD, Miss. – For the second time in a week, Ole Miss softball graduates Aliyah Binford and Lexie Brady have been named as top-100 players in the nation, as D1Softball published its final Top-100 players rankings of 2025.

Binford was ranked No. 51 in the nation by the publication, while Brady was selected as the No. 92 player in the country.

Both Rebels were also named to Softball America's Top-100 players last week, with Binford ranking No. 30 and Brady at No. 85 in the nation.

Named an All-South Region honoree for her efforts as one of the top two-way players in the nation, Binford hit .320 with a team-high 30 extra-base hits, tallying 15 doubles and 12 home runs this season. In her lone season in Oxford, she broke the single season RBI (55) and total bases (122) records at Ole Miss. The New Braunfels, Texas, was particularly impactful in the Rebels run to the program's first ever Women's College World Series, hitting .344 with four home runs and adding nine RBI over nine games.

Binford also shined in the circle, and was named to the NCAA's All-Tournament team after 11 innings of work in the Women's College World Series where she allowed no earned runs. This season, Binford went 11-5 with a 3.26 ERA (122.1 IP) over 29 appearances and struck out 88 batters. Binford tossed eight complete games, two shutouts and tallied four saves, while recording a solo no-hitter against Murray State.

A Rebel lifer who finished in the top-10 all-time at Ole Miss in home runs, RBI, slugging, on base percentage and walks, Brady was a key piece of the program's historic 2025 campaign. Brady took home NFCA All-South Region and All-SEC honors, while breaking a 22-year-old single season home run record at Ole Miss with 17 on the season. Brady hit .323 with 28 extra-base hits, 51 RBI and a team-high 26 walks, while adding eight stolen bases and slugging .714 in her 2025 campaign.
