Men’s Tennis Drops Match to No. 12 Texas A&M

OXFORD, Miss - Ole Miss men's tennis kept things close throughout the matchplay against No. 12 Texas A&M, but fell short, 4-0, on Sunday at the Palmer/Salloum Outdoor Tennis Center.
Ole Miss (11-8, 2-7 SEC) stayed competitive in doubles and kept things close, but ultimately fell on courts two and three to give the Aggies (14-5, 7-1 SEC) the doubles point.
Isac Stromberg and Kai Milburn found some momentum against Texas A&M's No. 30 ranked duo but the match went unfinished following the Aggies clinching the doubles point.
It was a fierce battle between the two SEC foes on the singles courts. The Rebels kept things close throughout the matchplay, but fell short in the end. The Aggies claimed three unanswered singles courts to fashion the 4-0 final score.
Ole Miss will play host to No. 24 Oklahoma this week. The Rebels will square off against the Sooners on Thursday, March 27 at 3 p.m. CT at the Palmer/Salloum Outdoor Tennis Center.
