Softball Releases Full 2026 Schedule

OXFORD, Miss. – After a historic 2025 campaign, the Ole Miss softball program has turned the page to a new season and unveiled its full 2026 schedule, with action set to begin in early February.
The season begins for the Rebels on Thursday, Feb. 5, as the team opens with a doubleheader at Cal State Fullerton. The doubleheader opens a three-day stint at the Easton Classic, where the Rebels will also face off against CSUN and Boise State.
From there, the Rebels return to Lafayette, La., for the fourth consecutive season as Ole Miss competes in the Ragin' Cajuns Invitational from Feb. 12 to Feb. 14. The Rebels will face Louisiana and McNeese in the tournament.
The Rebels open the home slate the next week, welcoming Miami (OH) to the Ole Miss Softball Stadium on Monday, Feb. 16. From there, the Rebels head to Birmingham, Ala., to compete in the Green & Gold Classic. The Rebels will match up with Mercer on Feb. 20, Southern Illinois and Missouri State on Feb. 21 and Missouri State and Mercer on Feb. 22.
Following the tournament, the Rebels return to Oxford for a lengthy home swing, beginning with a midweek clash against Central Arkansas on Feb. 25. From there, the Rebels welcome Jacksonville State and UL Monroe to town for the Ole Miss Classic, from Feb. 27 to Mar. 1. The final stretch of the homestand also marks the beginning of SEC play, with the Rebels hosting Alabama for three games from Mar. 6 to Mar. 8.
The Rebels will hit the road from there, opening with the first of a home-and-home against North Alabama on Mar. 10, before three games at defending national champion Texas from Mar. 13 to Mar. 15. The Rebels head back home for five straight games, as they welcome Louisiana Tech on Mar. 18, before hosting Oklahoma for the first time from Mar. 21 to Mar. 23. The home swing will end with a game against UAB on Mar. 25.
March ends with three games at Tennessee from Mar. 27 to Mar. 29, before midweek clashes at Memphis on Mar. 31 and at Central Arkansas on Apr. 1.
After a bye week from SEC play, the Rebels return home to face Samford on Apr. 7, before welcoming Texas A&M from Apr. 10 to Apr. 12. The Rebels will wrap up the home swing by hosting North Alabama on Apr. 14.
Ole Miss will wrap up the regular season with three games at LSU from Apr. 17 to Apr. 19, before hosting Southern Miss in the non-conference finale on Apr. 21. SEC play continues from there, as the Rebels will play three games at Auburn from Apr. 24 to Apr. 26, before hosting Mississippi State in Oxford from Apr. 30 to May 2. The SEC Tournament is slated for May 6-10 in Lexington, Ky.
