Ole Miss Men’s Tennis Wraps up Day Two at the Norman ITF

NORMAN, Okla. – Ole Miss men's tennis continues play at the Norman ITF in Norman, Oklahoma, on Tuesday.
Three Rebels competed in the second round of the singles Qualifying Draw on Tuesday. Vlado Jankanj started the day off for the Rebels, for he defeated Bruno Nhavene of Oklahoma, 1-6, 7-6, 10-5. With the win, Jankanj will now compete in the main draw on Wednesday.
Stefano D'Agostino fought hard against No. 93 Mathis Bondaz of Arizona State, but ultimately dropped the match, 6-3, 6-1. The last Rebel who competed in singles was Pietro Pampanin, who came up short against Aleksa Ciric, 3-6, 5-7.
To end the day, the Rebels doubles pairing of Vlado Jankanj and Isac Strömberg defeated James Hopper and Axel Nefve, 6-3, 3-6, 10-7. With the win, the duo advanced to the Doubles Quarterfinal, which will begin on Wednesday.
