OXFORD, Miss. – Sweden's Andrea Lignell needed a win in the final event of the LETAS season to clinch her LET card and she pulled it off spectacularly with a three-stroke victory at the Iberdrola Calatayud Ladies Open.
Lignell is one of seven players to earn their 2026 tour card through the LET Access Series.
Her first win came on home territory at the Swedish Strokeplay Championship by Dormy Future Stars where she defeated Iceland's Ragga Kristinsdottir in a one-stroke victory.
She would tally four additional top 10 finishes across the 2025 season.
"This means everything" Lignell said after her season finale win. "I am beyond excited about this. I can't believe I'm holding this card. I'm incredibly proud of myself and just so happy to be playing on the LET next year".
In her five seasons at Ole Miss, Lignell competed in 50 events, tallying a 72.84 scoring average. She was a two-time individual winner on the collegiate circuit and recorded nine top five finishes, 14 top 10s and 31 top 20s.
Lignell competed twice in the Augusta National Women's Amateur and was named First Team All-SEC in 2023.
