No. 4 Men’s Golf Finishes Fifth at Fallen Oak

BILOXI, Miss. – The No. 4 Ole Miss men's golf team finished fifth at the third playing of the Fallen Oak Collegiate Invitational. The Rebels posted (849, -15) highlighted by a pair of T13 finishes from Tom Fischer and Cameron Tankersley.
It was tough generating momentum again on Monday as Ole Miss posted (285, -3) as a team.
Fischer tallied the low round for Ole Miss shooting two-under 70. He would finish four-under for the tournament, securing his fourth top 15 finish this fall.
Tankersley would also finish his week at four-under marking his fourth straight top 15 finish.
Michael La Sasso and Daniel Tolf each posted one-under in Monday's final round. La Sasso placed tied for 18th and Tolf finished T44.
Cohen Trolio finished five-over par for the tournament.
Ole Miss will return home and prep for the 11th edition of the East Lake Cup, October 27-29, in Atlanta. East Lake Golf Club will be the site for the event with Arizona State, Florida and Virginia set to compete alongside the Rebels.
