OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss rifle got back in the win column, defeating Jacksonville State, 4696-4658, in its home opener on Saturday at the Ole Miss Rifle Range.

Freshmen highlighted the days efforts for the Rebels, with three placing inside the top six in aggregate scoring. Dinh earned the top spot, edging out Horvath in center shots, 81 to 75. Susan Carter had the placed sixth after having the fifth-largest total with a 1170 score, and 66 center shots.

The match began in smallbore, where the Rebels filled out the top five.

M'Leah Lambdin had the same score as Carter, but had one less center shot to take fourth. It's a season-high for the senior, who had the highest score in the second relay.

Air rifle once again saw Rebels crowd the top three, with four in the top five.
