Talking with Head Coach Marsha Beasley
"These were two good matches. Army had been shooting scores very similar to the scores we had been putting up. I thought it would be a close match, however, we were on their home turf and they were ready for us. We performed within a few points of how we have been doing, but across the board our performance was flat. We tied Army in air rifle, but they had a season best in smallbore and we weren't even close."
"It was fun to shoot against West Virginia. WVU's team is the defending NCAA Champion and has been ranked either one or two all season. They are clearly the better team and we had a good opportunity to learn some things from them. I was happy to see Hayley Carroll tie her personal best in smallbore, 572, and post a personal best for combined scores of 1159."
