On tonight's game…
"We didn't have a lot of energy. We didn't have a lot of effort. We played scared in the beginning of the game. Tennessee is a good team. When you come out and play intimidated against a team like that you get beat. That is what happened to us. I knew in the first four minutes of the game it was going to be hard to get them going. You are going to have games like that, but you just hate that it happened on a night like tonight. I told them we are going to practice at 2:00. We need to push through the wall and get ready to go against Missouri. We need to flush this and get ready to play. We need to go win on Sunday."
On Shandricka Sessom leading the team in points again...
"She is really coming on. Shandricka is a star in the making in this league. She is going to continue to get better and better each day. I am really proud of her. It's amazing. She and Grazie Frizzell are on the court 45 minutes early shooting."
On playing Missouri on Sunday…
"It is a huge game for us in so many ways. We won't run away from playing in the NIT postseason. That would be the first time it has happened for a program in quite some time. So, that is something. That is very important to us. We have to figure out a way to get the wins and push on through. We will. We will find a way to play better than we played tonight."
