Rebel Men's Netter Wins Consolation Match

AUSTIN, Texas - Ole Miss men's tennis player Vikrant Chada won his first-round match in the consolation bracket Friday at the ITA Men's All-American Championships. Martin Sjoqvist dropped a three-set decision.
Chada, ranked 44th in the nation, defeated 16th-ranked Marc Silva of Northwestern 6-4, 6-4, for his first win over a top 20 opponent this season.
Sjoqvist won the first set against South Caroina's Guillaume Legat before falling 2-6, 6-2, 6-3.
