OXFORD, Miss. -- The No. 7 nationally-ranked Ole Miss women's tennis team will host South Carolina and Georgia in their final home matches of the season this weekend. On Friday, the Lady Rebels will host South Carolina at 9:00 a.m. The first 100 Ole Miss students in attendance will receive a free breakfast sandwich courtesy of McDonalds.
"We've really been looking forward to this weekend, playing two excellent nationally-ranked teams, South Carolina and Georgia," Head Coach Jerry Montgomery said. "We're inspired coming off our do or die win over William & Mary last Sunday, and we realize the importance of our upcoming matches. I know that I will see great focus and a lot of determination from all of my players."
Ole Miss comes into the match with a 14-3 overall record, 6-2 in the SEC. They are coming off a 5-4 win over non-conference foe William & Mary last Sunday. In that match, the Lady Rebels rallied from a 4-2 deficit to take the win. In its last conference outing, Ole Miss suffered an 8-1 defeat to Vanderbilt.
The Lady Rebels are led by Agnes Muzamel, who is 10-7 at the top spot and Ivona Mihailova, who is 10-7 at No. 2 singles. Both will be looking to rebound from back-to-back losses last weekend.

Ole Miss defeated South Carolina 7-2 last year in Columbia. The last time the two teams met in Oxford, the Lady Rebels won 8-1.
On Sunday, the Lady Rebels will host No. 3 Georgia at 1:00 p.m., in a crucial SEC match. It will be the Lady Rebels' fourth top five opponent this season. They are 1-2 versus top five teams.
Georgia is 14-1 overall and 6-0 in the SEC. They have won eight straight matches including two top 10 wins last week over No. 8 California and No. 9 Texas. The Lady Bulldogs are led by second-ranked Marissa Catlin, who is 29-4 this year and 14-1 at the No. 1position.
The Lady Rebels will be looking to avenge a 5-4 loss to Georgia last year in Athens. Ole Miss defeated the Lady Bulldogs 6-3 the last time the two teams met in Oxford.
