In a game in which the Rebels looked cool, calm and collected early following a 21-point first quarter, the Bulldogs didn't go away quietly. After a 28-3 halftime score, Mississippi State responded with 10 unanswered points. But, thanks to a responsive effort from the Landshark D and Rebel offense, No. 18 Ole Miss won its second straight Egg Bowl.

No. 18 Ole Miss held No. 4 Mississippi State to 17 points, tied for their fewest points scored in a game this season, and a red-zone stand sealed the win for the Rebels. Offensively, quarterback Bo Wallace threw for nearly 300 yards, and running back Jaylen Walton and tight end Evan Engram turned in career games.

Nov. 28, 2013 - Starkville, Miss - Mississippi State 17, Ole Miss 10:
In a defensive game, the 110th meeting of the Egg Bowl came down to overtime, with Mississippi State forcing a turnover on the Rebels' OT possession to win it 17-10. Ole Miss didn't have an offensive touchdown, scoring only on a 22-yard Andrew Ritter field goal and a blocked punt by Collins Moore recovered by Terrell Grant in the end zone at the end of the first half.

Paced by a three-touchdown performance from Donte Moncrief, Ole Miss defeated its intrastate rival, No. 24 Mississippi State, 41-24 on a beautiful Saturday night in front of 61,005 fans at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
