FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Ole Miss men's tennis sophomore Vlado Jankanj continued his run through qualifying at the ITF M15 Fayetteville with a straight-set victory over Memphis' Marko Milosavljevic on Tuesday.
Jankanj battled through a competitive opening set, earning a 6-4 victory before closing out the match in a second-set tiebreak. Jankanj claimed the tiebreak, 7-5, to secure the win and advance through qualifying.
Jankanj will return to action Wednesday in the Round of 32 of the singles main draw, where he will face Pablo Martinez Gomes.
