Men's Golf Tabbed 19th in Golf Channel Preseason Rankings

OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss men's golf team enters the new season ranked No. 19 in the Golf Channel's Top 30 Preseason Rankings, the network announced Monday morning.
After returning just four players from last season and welcoming five newcomers, the Rebels enter the season with a new-look roster featuring plenty of experience and a championship pedigree.
With key returner Collins Trolio back for his senior season, the Rebels will look to the West Point, Mississippi, native to provide veteran leadership and continue his strong play from a season ago. Trolio posted a 72.61 stroke average over 33 rounds last season, recording 13 rounds of par or better, including six rounds under par. Most notably stood out during Ole Miss' historic SEC Championship run, defeating No.1 rated amateur Jackson Koivun in the SEC semifinals to help propel the Rebels to a conference title. With another season of experience under his belt, Trolio will be a vital piece of the Rebels' lineup as they look to defend their conference title and continue their success on the national stage.
Cooper Claycomb and freshman Tomas Restrepo are two newcomers to watch on this new-look roster. Claycomb arrives from Louisville ranked No. 115 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), bringing a strong collegiate resume that includes two PING All-Region honors and 17 top-20 finishes. Restrepo, ranked No. 147 in the WAGR rankings, joins Ole Miss with nine tournament victories and 19 top-five finishes. The Manizales, Colombia, native won the Toyota Junior Golf World Cup in back-to-back years and was named Colombia's Youth Athlete of the Year in 2025.
The Rebels will be back in action on Sept. 13-15 as they take on the Inverness Collegiate in Toledo, Ohio to kick off the 2026-27 season.
