20 From Softball Earn NFCA Scholar Athlete Honors

OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss softball program has once again put its name across the annual NFCA Scholar Athlete awards list, landing 20 members of the 2026 roster on the list.
20 student-athletes on the 2026 roster have been named to the list after finishing with grade-point averages over 3.5 for the academic year. Laylonna Applin, Makenna Bellaire, Kennedy Bunker, Rachel Connors, Madi George, Tenly Grisham, Madi Heine, Hope Jenkins, Graycen Jordan, Payton Kennedy, Persy Llamas, Taylor Malvin, Liesl Osteen, Mackenzie Pickens, Cassie Reasner, Izzy Rettiger, Taylor Roman, Sydney Shiller, Ryan Starr and Grace Thompson were all honored for their academic achievements.
During the spring semester of competition, the Rebels tallied a team GPA of 3.56.
The Rebels continue to achieve academically under head coach Jamie Trachsel, after landing five on CSC Academic All-District teams at the end of the season.
