Softball Adds Jenna Sniffen as Transfer

OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss softball program has landed another big name in the transfer portal, signing Jenna Sniffen to next season's roster.
Sniffen joins the Rebels after two seasons at Arizona and will have two more seasons of eligibility.
A two-year starter primarily at third base, Sniffen locked down the hot corner for the Wildcats, playing in 117 games and making 116 starts. Sniffen hit .279 over her Arizona career, while adding 13 home runs, 14 doubles and 55 RBI. The Kapolei, Hawai'I native showed elite plate discipline, drawing 33 walks and striking out just 24 times over two seasons.
Defensively, Sniffen has also been excellent, holding a career .956 fielding percentage and tallying 193 infield assists.
A 2025 All-Big 12 Second Team and Big 12 All-Freshman Team honoree, Rebel fans will remember Sniffen from the 2025 NCAA Regional, in which Ole Miss emerged from the Tucson Regional. Sniffen reached safely four times in three games against the Rebels. This season, Sniffen shined in the postseason, driving in four runs and launching a home run in the Durham Regional.
Sniffen becomes the fourth member of the incoming transfer class, joining pitchers Lexie Hames (Clemson) and Hailey Lucas (Southern Illinois), as well as outfielder Brie Howard (Austin Peay) as new transfers for head coach Jamie Trachsel and the Rebel softball program. The group is set to join 11 freshmen as newcomers on next season's roster.
