Track & Field, Cross Country See Nine Student-Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss track & field and cross country had nine student-athletes earn a spot on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, as announced by the CSC on Tuesday.
For the men's team, senior Aiden Britt (master's in engineering science), junior Sterling Scott (multi-disciplinary studies), and senior Carson Turner (computer science) were each named to the Academic All-District team. Honorees for the women include senior Beth Arentz (master of business administration), senior Sophie Baumann (allied health studies), sophomore Lily Beattie (exercise science), senior Lizzie Hatton (general business), junior Akaoma Odeluga (political science), and senior Loral Winn (master's in journalism).
Of the nine recipients of Academic All-District honors, Scott and Odeluga will advance to the ballot for CSC Academic All-American honors.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes cross country/track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 14 (men) and July 15 (women).
