Stefano D’Agostino Earns All-SEC Second Team Honors
4/23/2026 | Men's Tennis
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced the recipients of its postseason awards on Thursday afternoon, with freshman Stefano D'Agostino named to the All-SEC Second Team.
This is the first postseason award D'Agostino has received from the SEC, and the first All-SEC award recipient for Ole Miss men's tennis since Nikola Slavic and John Hallquist Lithén in 2024.
"Stefano definitely earned this honor this season, and he only improved as the Spring went on," head coach Jake Jacoby said. "It was great to have him as our number one player, and several guys on the team improved a lot and had strong Spring seasons, too. This program has a lot to look forward to as we head into the NCAA Tournament and into next season. Very proud of Stefano and very excited for Ole Miss tennis, Hotty Toddy."
D'Agostino has led the charge for the Rebels all season as he played on court one in singles and court two for doubles. In singles, he acquired 13 overall singles victories, with 12 coming from dual matches and three being against ranked opponents.
Besides singles, D'Agostino also contributed heavily in doubles play, where he secured 11 overall wins with six of them coming from SEC play and three being against ranked doubles pairs. His play this year earned him a season-high No. 77 ranking in singles and No. 55 doubles ranking alongside his partner Pietro Pampanin.
Ole Miss awaits its postseason fate as the field of 64 for the NCAA Team Championships will be revealed April 27 at 4 p.m. CT on NCAA.com.
