Christeen Iwuala, Cotie McMahon Recognized on Women’s College All-Star Game Watch List

PHOENIX – Ole Miss women's basketball's Christeen Iwuala and Cotie McMahon were named to the Women's College All-Star Game Watch List presented by Lilly, Intersport announced on Wednesday.
 
The duo was selected by a distinguished panel of national media experts to potentially compete in the national showcase event on April 4 in Phoenix.
 
The 2026 Women's College All-Star Game will feature the top senior standouts who are on the precipice of hearing their names called in the WNBA Draft. Of the nearly 100 players that appear on the watch list, 20 will ultimately be selected to participate in the event, which will be televised by ESPN2 at 11 a.m. MT on April 4.
 
The Lilly Women's College All-Star Game will provide the country's brightest college stars one final opportunity to represent their programs and be recognized against the backdrop of the sport's championship weekend.
 
The complete watch list can be found on the event's website at www.womenscollegeallstar.com. The final event roster will be announced the week of the event. Participants in the Lilly Women's College All-Star Game will be players that have exhausted or will for forego their remaining eligibility. Tickets can be purchased at https://womenscollegeallstar.com/tickets/.
 
The last Rebel to compete in the Lily Women's College All-Star Game was Madison Scott, as she helped Team Miller defeat Team Lieberman, 71-59, last year. 
 
Iwuala has established herself as one of the top frontcourt players in the SEC throughout her second year in Oxford, averaging 12.7 points off a 60.6% field goal clip, and a team-high 8.4 rebounds. She has recorded a double-double in a team-high 11 outings, becoming the first Rebel since Scott tallied 11 during the 2022-23 season to notch that many. 
 
In her lone season at Ole Miss, McMahon has been a dominant force, averaging 19.9 points on 45.1% shooting, while adding 5.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 30.5 minutes per game. The SEC Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-SEC honoree elevated her play during the demanding conference slate, posting averages of 21.0 points, 5.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 33.4 minutes per contest.
 
Together, the pair has accounted for 42.7% of Ole Miss' points this season and 33.7% of its rebounds. The dynamic duo has also notched 16 of the Rebels' 22 double-doubles this season.
 
Iwuala, McMahon and Ole Miss will await its postseason fate on Selection Sunday, which is slated for March 15 at 7 p.m. CT.
