J’Adore Young Named to SEC Community Service Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Ole Miss women's basketball's J'Adore Young has been named to the 2026 SEC Community Service Team for the first time in her career, the conference announced Wednesday morning.
In a continuing effort to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes beyond the field of competition, the SEC once again highlighted a Community Service Team for women's basketball for the 2025-26 season.
This marks the 28th year for the SEC Community Service Team for women's basketball as well as for men's basketball. All league-sponsored sports have had a Community Service Team since 2004, with at-large teams for men's and women's sports being chosen from 1999-2003. The SEC began this concept with a football Community Service Team in 1994.
Young has been a consistent and visible presence in community service initiatives throughout the Oxford and Lafayette County area, dedicating her time to making a meaningful impact beyond the court.
The junior has participated in several forms of service in her three years at Ole Miss, including Adopt a Basket, Feed the Sip, Reading with the Rebels, Elementary Morning Car Pool, Hygiene HIjack, OPC National Girls and Women's Day, RebelTHON, More than a Meal and Aflac Oui Play Youth Clinic in Paris, France. Most notably and recently, Young participated in the annual CASA of North Mississippi Christmas Program in providing Christmas items for six foster children.
On the court, Young has appeared in 19 games this year, starting in one, after battling with injuries her first two years of collegiate basketball. This season, she has earned career highs in points against Georgia with seven and in rebounds against Mississippi Valley State with five.
