OXFORD, Miss. – As anticipation grows for Ole Miss volleyball’s 2025 season and head coach Bre Henry’s third full season as the team’s leader, OleMissSports.com will take a glance at the Rebels’ three liberos.
Ole Miss returns two from last season’s roster, headlined by senior Cammy Niesen entering her fourth and final season with the Rebels. Redshirt freshman Cameron Bradley and true freshman Bella Bonanno join Niesen as the team’s defensive leaders, anchoring what was the most productive units in the SEC last season. Niesen led the team last year to 1,732 total digs, tops for the conference and was the most by a Rebel squad since 2019.
Niesen is coming off one of the most defensively dominant individual seasons in Ole Miss history. One of two Rebels last season to play in all 120 sets, Niesen became the sixth Rebel to reach 500 digs in a single season. Her 537 digs for the year is second all-time for Ole Miss in the rally scoring era, and third highest ever. She tallied 39 digs against Arkansas, the most by a Rebel in a single match ever.

She became the 16th Rebel to eclipse the 1,000-career digs milestone last season against Houston, doing so in just 67 career matches. Over the course of her career, she’s averaged 4.08 digs per set and over 16 per match appearance. Niesen enters her senior season with 1,395 tallies to her name, which is third all-time in program history. Niesen is 236 digs away from becoming Ole Miss’ all-time leader, a title currently held by Morgan Springer.
Niesen also contributed to the offense, putting up a career high 107 assists, good for third on the team last season. She also posted 19 service aces in her junior campaign.

Bradley returns to the Rebels after taking a redshirt season in 2024. She was a three-year letterwinner at Rouse High School in Leander, Texas, where she accumulated numerous honors. Her most notable being named the MVP during the 2024 USA Girls Junior Championship. Like Niesen, Bradley is effective when receiving and tacking on digs. She compiled over 1,500 career digs during high school, which included 500 during her senior season.
After a stellar high school career in Arkansas which saw her become the all-time state leader in career digs, Bonanno has brought her talents to Oxford. Bonanno was a four-time All-State, All-Conference and All-State tournament team honoree, along with several additional honors. She led Shiloh Christian School to four conference titles and two state final appearances. A three-time captain, Bonanno was named the 2021 Arkansas Democratic Gazette Newcomer and Defensive Player of the Year, respectively. Alongside her defensive prowess, Bonanno finished her high school career with the second-most service aces of all-time in Arkansas.
