Track & Field’s Jordan Urrutia Earns Bronze at U.S U20 Championships

EUGENE, Ore. – Ole Miss track & field All-American freshman Jordan Urrutia came away with a bronze medal in the men's 200-meter dash final to wrap up Ole Miss' stay at the 2025 U.S. U20 Championships.
 
Urrutia was also third in the prelim earlier in the evening at 21.12 (+0.6), before holding his position for the bronze medal in the final at 20.98 (+0.6). Urrutia also made the final of the 100-meter dash the night before, finishing eighth at 10.51 (+0.5) after running a slightly wind-aided 10.43 (+2.2) to finish fifth in the qualifying round.
 
Ole Miss signee Ashton Hearn also came away with a medal of his own, winning bronze in the men's discus final last night at 61.66m/202-3. Tonight, Hearn was the fourth-place finisher in the shot put final at 19.63m/64-5.
 
Also making a field event final was freshman Indya Dotson, who finished eighth at 5.73m/18-09.75 (+1.3) – her first competition of the outdoor season after redshirting.
 
Elsewhere in competition, SEC silver medalist Lily Beattie tied for seventh in the women's pole vault final last night at 4.00m/13-01.50.
