Men’s Golf Foursome Receives PING All-Region Team Honors

CARLSBAD, Calif. – Four members of the Ole Miss men’s golf team received PING All-Region Team honors the GCAA announced today. Tom Fischer, Michael La Sasso, Kye Meeks and Cameron Tankersley were all named to the Southeast All-Region team.
Players across six regions and 82 schools earned all-region honors in 2025.

Fischer earned his first collegiate victory in the team’s regular season finale at the Old Waverly Collegiate Championship. The Second Team All-SEC and SEC Community Service Team selection has tallied 21 rounds of even or below-par this season.
La Sasso leads Ole Miss across 10 statistical categories and picked up his first two collegiate victories during the regular season. The First Team All-SEC recipient has 20 rounds in the 60s this season and was selected to represent Team USA in the 2025 Palmer Cup.
La Sasso is a 2024-25 Haskins Award and a Division I Jack Nicklaus Award finalist.
Kye Meeks has seven top 20 finishes during his senior campaign including a career-best finish at Fallen Oak. Meeks has tallied 22 rounds of even or below-par this season.
Cameron Tankersley is tied for the team lead with six top 10 finishes in 2024-25. The Dickson, Tennessee native has 23 rounds of even or below-par and recently qualified to compete in the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont.
Ole Miss continues play at the NCAA Championships at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa, in Carlsbad, California.
