4/23/2025 | Women's Golf
COLUMBUS, Ga. – Ole Miss women's golf senior Caitlyn Macnab has been named to the postseason watch list for the ANNIKA Award, as announced by Golfweek and the Golf Channel on Wednesday.
Macnab finds herself as one of the 15 collegiate women's golfers named to the prestigious award's postseason watch list for the 2024-25 season. This marks the second straight season that Johannesburg, South Africa, native has been named to the ANNIKA watch list.
The ANNIKA Award, named for Annika Sorenstam and presented by Stifel, is awarded annually to the most outstanding women's college golfer, as voted on by players, coaches and media. The 10 Finalists for the 2024-2025 season will be announced on Friday, May 9.
Macnab leads the SEC with a stroke average of 70.00 and has finished in the top 20 in all nine tournaments this season, including four top-5 finishes.
Just last week, Macnab became the first Rebel in program history to win the SEC Championship individual title. She shot to the top of the leaderboard following a tremendous third round 65 (-5) at the 2025 SEC Women's Golf Championship to secure top medalist honors with a three-day total of 201 (-9), four strokes above the runner-up. The 201 marked the lowest 54-hole score on a par 70 course in program history.
With four medalist finishes to her name in only two seasons as an Ole Miss Rebel, Macnab has tied the program record for wins previously set by Julia Johnson. Dating back to the Clemson Invitational in March, Macnab has tallied six straight rounds in the 60s.
Ole Miss will wait to learn their postseason fate with the NCAA Selection Show, which is set to be televised on Golf Channel, April 23, at noon CT. It is there that the team will learn what NCAA Regional they will be traveling to May 5-7.
