Gracie Dinh Named First Team Smallbore All-American, Honorable Mention Aggregate

3/19/2025 | Rifle

OXFORD, Miss. – Following a stellar freshman campaign, Ole Miss rifle's Gracie Dinh has been recognized by the Collegiate Rifle Coaches' Association as a First Team All-American in smallbore with an honorable mention nod in aggregate scoring.

Dinh becomes Ole Miss' first freshman to earn All-American status since Lea Horvath was named a First Team member of smallbore, air rifle and aggregate scoring in 2021. Ole Miss has produced at least one All-American for the past six years, starting in 2020, with Dinh's achievement. All-time, Dinh became Ole Miss' 13th All-American.

The only Rebel to appear as a counter in both smallbore and air rifle for each match this season, Dinh was Ole Miss' most consistent shooter all year. Among year-long competitors, Dinh averaged the highest aggregate and smallbore scores, scoring 1181.9 and 588.0 per appearance, respectively.

Dinh led the Rebels in smallbore scoring five times this season, including pacing Ole Miss in the NCAA Tournament with a 588 score. She finished ninth overall, finishing just shy of earning a spot in the individual final round. Dinh burst onto the scene in her collegiate debut by firing a team-leading 590 in smallbore against Akron, a score she would match or exceed four times in total this season.

Against Kentucky, Dinh fired a career-high 591 in the event with 37 center shots. She led the team and finished second in the individual rankings that day.

In aggregate scoring, Dinh reached a peak of 1185 three times, twice in her last two meetings of the season. She paced the team in aggregate scoring three times in a row during the fall season, against Jacksonville State, Kentucky and at Ohio State. A contributing factor to her consistency, Dinh fell below 1180 only three times during her freshman season.

Dinh's dominance was on full display during the national tournament, finishing eighth overall in the individual aggregate ranking with her 1185 finish. She had the second-highest score by any Rebel in the tournament.

The CRCA honors the top 20 individual performers in each discipline. Dinh had the 12th-highest average in smallbore nationally, and the 16th-highest aggregate score in the country.
