Cammy Niesen Named CSC Academic All-District
12/17/2025 | Volleyball
OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss volleyball senior Cammy Niesen has been recognized as a College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honoree, as the organization recently announced.
Niesen joins 32 other SEC student-athletes in being recognized for their academic and athletic achievement. Niesen will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members.
The CSC Academic All-America® program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom across all of NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
It marks the third consecutive honor for Niesen, who has been selected in each season of eligibility for the award. It marks yet another academic honor for Niesen, who became the first Rebel to ever take home the SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year award in 2024.
In addition to her prolific academic career as a chemical engineering major, Niesen left her legacy as the greatest libero in program history, setting the program's all-time digs mark with 1,853, while ending her career in the top-10 in SEC history with the mark. Niesen finished the season with 458 digs, 115 assists, 19 service aces and a .982 reception percentage, making only eight errors on 440 attempts.
