12/16/2025 | Volleyball
OXFORD, Miss. – Head coach Bre Henry and the Ole Miss volleyball program have added another standout player in the transfer portal, signing setter Tenesyn Frye.
Frye heads to Oxford after spending her freshman season at Houston. Frye will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.
Hailing from Meridian, Idaho, Frye saw plenty of action as a true freshman for the Cougars, playing in 20 matches and earning four starts. Frye tallied 214 assists, along with 79 digs, eight kills, eight service aces and three blocks in her debut campaign.
Her strong play earned her more opportunities down the stretch in Big 12 play, including a 20 assist, 10 dig double-double against Arizona on Oct. 19 and a 21-assist, nine dig performance against No. 21 Baylor on Nov. 15.
Regarded as a four-star recruit by VBallRecruiter.com out of high school, Frye was also named a Two-time Prep Volleyball Club All-American, was tabbed to the 2024 AVCA All-America Watch List and named a 5A First-Team All-State selection.
Frye joins fellow transfer Nina Moorer (Texas State), as well as incoming freshmen Rileigh Butler, Jaidyn Hartsfield, Ryea Jackson, Coco Natarajan and Sophie Taylor as new Rebels next season.
