No. 10 Women’s Golf Remains in Fourth After Rain Filled Tuesday at The Ally

WEST POINT, Miss. – After heavy rain pushed the start of round two back to 1:15 p.m., the No. 10 Ole Miss women's golf team posted (284, -4) highlighted by a round of three-under par from freshman Matilda Björkman.
The Rebels remain in fourth after 36-holes of play.
Björkman began the shotgun start on Hole 4 and would birdie three of her first five chances. After dropping a shot on No. 10, she would rebound with her fourth circle of the day on No. 11. She would add another birdie on 15 and capped off her round of 69 with an eagle on the par 5 2nd. Björkman sits just outside the top 20 at even par for the tournament.
Kajsalotta Svarvar put together a steady round of one-under 71 and is T14 heading into Wednesday's final round. Svarvar sank a 35-footer for birdie on No. 1 and quietly tallied 13 pars over the remainder of her round.
Sophie Linder also put together a round of one-under 71 on Tuesday.
Mary Miller finished her second round at one-over par and Filippa Sundquist carded a three-over 75.
Nicole Gal who is competing as an individual this week shot even par in round two.
Ole Miss will begin the final round Wednesday at 9:15 a.m. CT.
