Michael La Sasso and Three Former Rebels Set for Sanderson Farms Championship

JACKSON, Miss. – Ole Miss men's golfer Michael La Sasso will tee it up this week at the 2025 Sanderson Farms Championship, October 2-5 at the Country Club of Jackson. Former Rebels Kye Meeks, Jackson Suber and Braden Thornberry will also compete in the event.
La Sasso made five PGA TOUR appearances this summer with stops at the U.S. Open, the Rocket Classic, the John Deere Classic, the Barracuda Championship and the 3M Open.
Kye Meeks will make his PGA TOUR debut this week in his home state. The Walnut, Mississippi native has competed in nine events on the PGA TOUR Americas circuit since turning pro in June.
Jackson Suber and Braden Thornberry round out the former Rebels competing in Jackson this week.
Suber has shown promise in his rookie campaign with three top 10 finishes at the Sony Open in Hawaii, the Rocket Classic and the Barracuda Championship. Thornberry has made 21 starts this season with his best finish coming at the Zurich Classic in New Orleans where he finished T10 alongside playing partner Hayden Buckley.
