Women’s Cross Country Holds at No. 22 in Week Three USTFCCCA Poll

NEW ORLEANS – Ole Miss women's cross country remains at No. 22 in the Week Three USTFCCCA Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.
This marks the 50th overall appearance for the Rebel women in the national polls, who are coming off a third-place finish at Missouri's Gans Creek Classic on Sept. 27. Ole Miss took down No. 6 Florida and No. 13 Lipscomb in the team standings and only finished behind No. 8 Sandford and No. 9 Tennessee.
Leading that charge was Ole Miss senior Loral Winn, who finished fourth overall at her fifth career 6K time below the 20-minute barrier at 19:56.9 – the most of any Rebel women in recorded history. Winn was one of five Ole Miss scorers within the top-50 alongside Sophie Baumann (18th, 20:27.3), Sarah Schiffmann (26th, 20:35.6), Beth Arentz (32nd, 20:45.0) and Hannah Iefield (43rd, 20:57.9).
Ole Miss returns to action next week for the Pre-National Invitational, hosted by Wisconsin on Sat., Oct. 19 at 10am C.T.
