OXFORD, Miss. - Head coach Kory Henkes announced three additions to the Ole Miss women's golf team for the 2017-18 season. Conner Beth Ball (Madison, Miss./Jackson Academy), Julia Johnson (St. Gabriel, La./Math, Science and Arts Academy) and Macy Holliday (Dallas, Texas/Trinity Christian Academy) each signed National Letters of Intent during the NCAA's early signing period.

"We are excited to add Conner Beth, Julia and Macy to the Ole Miss women's golf program," Henkes said. "This signing class is the epitome of class-act student-athletes. They have the morals and the work ethic we are looking for to fit the mold of our program. We have worked hard to create a competitive environment day in and day out for our team and know that these three will have an immediate impact for us on and off the golf course."

Ball was the first to sign for Ole Miss on the opening day of the early signing period. She comes to Oxford as the No. 1 prospect in the Magnolia State according to Golfweek. She brings a wealth of experience, as well as a No. 40 ranking in the Polo Junior Golf worldwide rankings for the 2017 class. Henkes is excited for what the two-time Mississippi Junior Amateur Champion will bring to the program.

"Conner Beth is a fierce competitor, which will be a huge asset for the Ole Miss women's golf program," Henkes said. "She has a drive to succeed that will allow her to be an impact player as soon as she sets foot on campus. Her "never-give-up" attitude and ability to scramble is what makes her such a strong player. We look for the best talent all over the U.S. and internationally, and we are excited to keep the top-ranked Mississippi player home for her college career."

Johnson was the second future Rebel to join the fold, signing on Monday. Golfweek rankings tabbed Johnson as Louisiana's No. 1 golfer for 2017. Johnson is a three-time LHSAA state champion and a two-time Louisiana Junior Amateur Champion. She also holds the 2015 Louisiana Amateur title and the Louisiana High School record for the lowest round at 8-under par (64).

"Julia is an experienced player with success in the state of Louisiana as well as nationally," Henkes said. "Julia has lofty goals during her tenure at Ole Miss, and I have no doubt she will be able to achieve anything she puts her mind to. She has sound fundamentals, is an excellent iron player and loves to compete. Julia will make an easy transition from junior golf to college golf and look to compete right away."

Holliday was the third and final piece of the 2017 class. The Texan signed Wednesday as a two-time state champion and a three-time All-State selection. She boasts seven finishes of 11th or better in American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) events, as well as five Texas Junior Golf Tour victories.

"Macy will be a great addition to our team," Henkes said. "She is a well-rounded student-athlete who has really bought into the culture and the goals of the Ole Miss women's golf program. Macy is a strong ball striker who has only begun to tap into her potential. Coming off a strong summer, Macy has the desire to always improve, and I think the best is yet to come for her."
